A man died Friday night hours after he was shot Friday at the Brier Creek shopping center in Raleigh, police said.
The shooting occurred shortly before 2 p.m. near the Barnes & Noble book store, at 8431 Brier Creek Parkway.

Arlandia Quaadir Parker, 32, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
Police said a woman was in custody in connection with the shooting.
In a 911 call, a caller told the dispatcher they were "walking outside and someone just shot a man in the parking lot."
"You are saying someone has been shot?" the dispatcher responded. "Yes," the caller responds. "They came in and she started hysterically crying and she said a woman shot a man."
No other details were immediately available.
