Bedazzled stilt-walkers, hula-hoopers bring Imagine Circus to Raleigh Christmas Parade

Without the use of motorized floats, live performances played a prominent role in keeping the parade lively and fun. Imagine Circus brought bedazzled stilt-walkers and hula-hoopers in sparkly costumes.

And we also have folks on stilts here

The imagined circus

Look at these gets that's a new entry this year

and we're checking them out

They are part of this whole walking crew here

This one's got a little elevation to it right now

up on stilts impressive if she is going to be

walking the 1.4 mile parade route like that

Love to see that but she seems to be handling

it well with the Hula hoops too and the flags

That is incredible

Yeah maybe you're covering more ground uh when you're up

high there who doesn't love the circus warm closer to

the sun up that high But this is this is

perfect

Imagine what these folks had to come up with this

year

Thinking outside the box you talk about live performances they

know how to give a live performance

And we have the Stampede of Love the miniature horses

Always a fan favorite here in the Raleigh Christmas parade

They were formed in 2002

These tiny hoos sure make the heart smile based in

Raleigh Stampede of Love focuses on the use of miniature

horses for animal assisted therapy

And we know how animals have a way of accepting

without judgment which makes these horses forgiving and uncomplicated and

the best kind of therapy

And now we have Alicia's School of Performing Arts out

of Benton North Carolina

This is a dance studio that's filled with passion inspiration

motivation and encouragement

Some tap dancers too with the candy cane good performance

here

It's located in Benson

Alicia's teaches classes in contemporary jazz tap ballet flogging musical

theater hip hop

You see the big nice sign right there the lyrical

and voice as well

Maybe you would hear that Alicia's goal is to instill

and develop a love for expression and creativity and that

will enable personal growth self-confidence the ability for every student

to flourish love their holiday attire and their candy cane

props

They walk a little bit and then they do a

little tap number which is just a thrill for the

audiences

Going to be seeing lots of live performances in this

Raleigh Christmas parade

They have to pace themselves

They got 1.4 miles to cover on this route

They sure do
