Police are investigating multiple car break-ins at the Homewood Suites hotel in Durham.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived at the hotel at 3600 Mount Moriah Road before 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, seeing at least four damaged vehicles, including a truck with a shattered driver's side window and glass shards covering the ground.

There was also shattered glass in an empty parking space.
The Durham Police Department left a card with an officer's name and contact information on the windshield of the truck for the owner to discover.
Eight miles away, at the Courtyard Marriott on Front Street, another truck was broken into. The WRAL Breaking News Tracker spoke with police officers who said it seemed to be the only break-in at the hotel, and no suspects have been identified.
The police officer said the Courtyard Marriott's surveillance video did not show that particular area of the parking lot. There is no indication that the break-in is linked to those at Homewood Suites.
In April, WRAL News covered a dozen car break-ins at the Comfort Inn located right next door to the Homewood Suites.
WRAL News has asked police how many vehicles were damaged and is working to learn if a suspect has been identified.
Drivers are asked to keep their vehicle doors locked and any valuable items out of sight.
